ABOUT CHARLOTTE ANGELS
Charlotte Angels is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families experiencing foster care in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to walk alongside the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
Over half of foster homes close within the first year due to the lack of support. Not only do the children experience the initial trauma of being removed from their home, but they then experience another layer of trauma if they are forced to move to another home or homes. We step in to make sure these homes can stay open, providing stability and consistency to the children and changing the statistics that lead to homelessness, incarceration, trafficking, and more. Without community support, we can’t match families with assistance or meet their needs.
